The exhibition “My Canvas” offers various views of different parts of our country: from lively colors of our life to organized chaos of our sidewalks. The combination of the Artist provides an opportunity to create a new association of works.”My canvas” acknowledges the personal efforts by each artist and asks what such an exhibition can unlock to give a dramatic impact on viewers mind. Each of these artists takes inspiration from the natural world, and through their particular choice of medium, transforms the familiar into something sublime, surreal and often otherworldly. Come to enjoy the art, or to talk about the art scene. The exhibition features five artists Sumita Chakravarti, Anjan Bhattacharya, Rama Suresh, Subrata Ghosh and Rajib Sur whose paintings magnify the exciting “voices” of today’s culture .I believe that people from any race or background can learn from the show’s message of positivity and contribute to the culture.
